Neosporin Ointment is a sterile antimicrobial medication used for topical skin use. This product helps treat minor wounds (cuts, scrapes, burns) and prevents mild skin infections. Minor skin infections and wounds heal faster when an antibiotic is applied to affected area. The antibiotics work by slowing or stopping the growth of bacteria. Apply to the affected area 1 to 3 times daily, and may be covered by a sterile bandage.
